Strategically placed for getting to the ski resort of Folgarida-Marilleva and the new ski area of Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta via the nearby Daolasa-Valmastellina cablecar and circled by mountains of incomparable beauty, the village of Dimaro may be considered a natural gateway to Val di Sole, the Brenta mountain range and the Adamello Brenta Park. This small alpine village still retains the mountain traditions typical of the Trentino, providing its guests with many relaxing and entertaining outdoor and indoor activities.
Nordic walking, horse riding and excursions on foot and bike are only some of the activities that can be explored in the natural surroundings. Not only those but for the more fearless the area offers adrenalin sports such as rafting, canoeing and hydrospeed trips through the rapids of the river Noce to enjoy in company.
In wintertime however Dimaro becomes a fairytale scene: the express cablecar Daolasa-Valmastellina links directly with Folgarida-Marilleva and Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo and leads to 150 kilometres of skiing suitable for everyone, form the easiest runs to the most difficult; while for those who would like to try a different experience some pistes are lit up at night. For the youngest, Daolasa Kids and the Folgarida Family Park, designed to offer family activities in total safety, enable them to make their first fun descent on skis or on a rubber tyre or join in activities provided by the entertainment staff. In addition it is possible to enjoy the splendid scenery on snow shoes.
